New Samsung Exynos Remove FRP Solution in Download Mode

We have introduced a new Remove FRP solution for Samsung Exynos devices, with an updated method that works directly from Samsung Download Mode.

The new solution extends our FRP support to a wide range of Samsung Galaxy S, Note, FE and Z Flip devices powered by Exynos 9830, 9840, 9925 and 9945 chipsets.

How to Use

Connect your supported Samsung device in Download Mode and select the Remove FRP procedure in Chimera.

On some devices, you can distinguish the new procedure from earlier FRP solutions by the "Added in October, 2026" label displayed in Chimera.
 
New Carrier Relock & SSU Unlock Support

We have extended our Samsung Carrier Relock and SSU Unlock solutions with new models and carriers.

Both procedures are now available for the following devices and carrier configurations:

Carrier Relock Support for One UI 8.5 and Newer

Our Carrier Relock solution has also been extended to additional Samsung Galaxy devices and carrier configurations running One UI 8.5 or newer.

The following models and carriers are now supported:

Tecno/Infinix Remove MDM - Method 2

Added a new Method 2 for Remove MDM on MediaTek-based Tecno and Infinix devices. The new method is available from Bootrom/Preloader mode and uses a fundamentally different approach compared to our existing solution.

This method may succeed on devices where the previous Remove MDM method fails.

Improvements

  • Samsung Managed Locks: The results table now shows the Registered status next to the Enrolled status (previously "State") for each lock. A newly detected KSI lock is also displayed.
  • Compatible LK selection: If the exact LK version of the device is not available, Chimera can now offer compatible LK versions from the server or accept a compatible LK file from your computer. You will see a warning before using a version that does not match exactly.
  • Downloads: A new context menu option opens the folder of a downloaded firmware file in File Explorer.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when an MTK device was connected in BROM mode.
  • Fixed crashes that could occur when starting or retrying a Firmware download.
  • Fixed a crash during the Google Pixel Repair IMEI procedure.
  • Improved active slot detection in Fastboot mode. Chimera now finds the correct slot more reliably and no longer has to ask the user to select it manually.
  • File system handling fixes.
